Platform Chinooks is a small preservation breeder located in Washington State. For the past decade we have been involved with fostering, training, and rehabilitation for dogs of all ages, breeds and temperaments.

We met our first Chinook in 2015 and the research began! We were excited to meet a versatile breed that can participate in activities across multiple venues.

Fast forward to January 2019, we were able to obtain and bring home our first Chinook, Minerva!

Platform breeds for the trifecta - Temperament, Health & Structure. Chinooks are incredibly versatile, and one of the most loyal breeds. This American sled dog was bred for their outstanding athletic ability and the intense desire to please; with healthy, sound dogs that are bred under strict guidelines.

Our mission is to preserve and produce Chinooks that have extraordinary health, a desire to please, fabulous conformation, and the perfect companions for your home.

All Platform dogs are family members and live very spoiled lives; our dogs live indoors and travel everywhere with us! Our dogs are socialized with people of all ages as well as other pets! We actively show in AKC and UKC conformation and performance events. To date, we have dabbled in weight pull, obedience, agility, tricks, herding, nose work, barn hunt and therapy work!

Visitors are always welcome and encouraged to meet the dogs of Platform! Bring your family and come meet ours!
